Rafa Velasquez Stanbury
Multidisciplinary artist and entrepreneur. Incurable dreamer, optimist, and blessed with a good sense of humor.
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1977, and earned a degree in Social Communication from the Central University of Venezuela. I later complemented my education with master's degrees in Film and Television Direction from Universitat Ramon Llull (Barcelona, Spain) and in Film Analysis and Theory from Escuela Estudio de Cine (Barcelona, Spain).
Throughout my career, I have worked in audiovisual production, live entertainment, music, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship. I have had the privilege of creating short films and television documentaries that have been internationally recognized for their quality. In 2025, I will take a new creative step by releasing my first album as a singer-songwriter, a project that reflects my love for the arts and my need to explore new expressive languages.
I feel fortunate to be able to put my creativity at the service of every project I undertake. However, my greatest joy comes from my wife Corina and our son Dylan, who are the driving force of my life.
